Welcome to Après Beach Club. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules for using our website, purchasing our merchandise, and renting our electric vehicles. By interacting with our site, completing a purchase, or booking a rental, you agree to these legal terms.

1. Who We Are
Après Beach Club Ré provides premium electric beach vehicle rentals and lifestyle products based on the Île de Ré, France. Our offerings include electric MOKE rentals, curated merchandise, concierge-style island transport, and digital booking services.

2. Using Our Website
By accessing our site, you certify that you are at least 18 years old and that all personal data provided is accurate. Users must not interfere with the site’s functionality or reproduce any content for commercial gain without our explicit written consent. We reserve the right to restrict access if these terms are violated.

3. Driver Requirements
To operate an Après Beach Club vehicle, all drivers must be at least 25 years old and have held a valid driver's license for at least two years. You must provide a valid passport, driver's license, and proof of address at check-in. All drivers must be legally authorized to drive in France. International guests are responsible for maintaining proper legal permits.

4. Security Deposit
A security deposit of €2,000 is required for every rental. This amount will be authorized or charged before you collect the vehicle. It covers potential theft, damages, fines, key loss, or cleaning fees. Refunds are issued within 7 days of return, provided the vehicle is in good condition. The renter is liable for any costs that exceed the deposit amount.

5. Insurance Coverage
Our fleet is insured according to French law, provided the driver remains compliant with these terms. Insurance does not cover reckless driving, intoxication, unauthorized drivers, interior damage, personal property loss, or damage resulting from off-road or beach use. Violations may result in full liability for all costs.

6. Usage Restrictions
Driving on beaches or off-road paths is strictly forbidden. Vehicles must not be used for racing, towing, or commercial sub-leasing. Seat belts are mandatory. Smoking, vaping, and pets (unless pre-approved) are prohibited inside the vehicles.

7. Returning Your Vehicle
Vehicles must be returned on time, clean, and in their original condition with a functional battery level. Late returns, excessive sand, or negligence may result in additional fees. If a vehicle is returned late without prior notice, we may charge for additional rental days.

8. Incidents and Safety
In case of breakdown or accident, notify Après Beach Club immediately. Do not admit liability to third parties. Reports and photos are required to maintain insurance validity. Ensure the police are contacted if legally required by French law.

9. Fines and Violations
The renter is solely responsible for all parking tickets, speeding fines, tolls, and impound fees incurred during the rental period. Administrative fees may apply to the processing of these violations.

10. Bookings and Cancellations
Reservations are confirmed once payment is received. Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance receive a full refund; 7 to 14 days receive 50%; and less than 7 days are non-refundable. We may cancel bookings for safety or mechanical reasons, offering a refund or a new date.

11. Merchandise and Returns
Branded apparel and accessories can be returned within 14 days if unused and in original condition. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the product is defective.

12. Ownership of Content
All logos, images, designs, and website content are the intellectual property of Après Beach Club Ré. Reproduction without permission is prohibited.

13. Liability Limits
We are not responsible for the loss of personal items, missed travel connections, or disruptions caused by weather and events outside our control. Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.

14. Data Privacy
Your data is collected solely to process bookings, communicate with you, and fulfill legal or insurance mandates. We never sell your personal information to third parties.

15. Governing Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Any legal disputes will be resolved through the French court system.
